The word "formal" is perhaps a bit mis-leading.а We don't want girls to think they have to wear floor-lenth gowns...although they certianly can if they wish!
Basically, Friday night's attire is encouraged to be dressy whereas Saturday is casual. Please feel free to come in whatever attire you deem as dressy.а We have young ladies come in everything from denim skirts to ball gowns.а It is really up to you.а Because Friday evening includes an elegant banquet and sometimes a photo-shoot (depending on the location) we want it to be an opportunity for girls to dress up if they want to.а Most of us have dresses or outfits hanging in our closet that are reserved for weddings and formal events - but weаdon't get to wear them very much!а Friday night can be just such an opportunity!а However, church clothes areаalso most appropriate.
The main thing is to relax about the issue.а There's no set dress code.а We want you to feel comfortable being you.
